How do I do Automatic Stop Motion Pictures on my Nikon D80 ?

For example if i want to do a stop motion for the sky, I don't want to be there the whole time clicking every 30mins. So how can i leave it there to take the pictures automatically on its own?How do I do Automatic Stop Motion Pictures on my Nikon D80 ?you are referring to long exposure, yes? not stop motion. You cannot do automatic shutter for more than 30 sec on bulb setting. You could buy a shutter release cord that will help you be more comfortable, but you'd still have to push it manually for however long you want. How do I do Automatic Stop Motion Pictures on my Nikon D80 ?Sorry, you can't.

I also think you're looking for the wrong thing, actually. I'm pretty sure "stop motion pictures" is the new fancy gizmo on the D60 which creates a .avi file out of several pictures to create a sort of cartoon video.

Well, I'm sorry, but as I said before, it can't.
