Is a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction valid in Colorado?

This is in reference to a motion to dismiss that I recently filed in Denver County Court. The reasons I stated were:

1. Improper (fraudulent) service and

2. lack of jurisdiction - suit should have been filed in the county where the alleged debt occurred.

Even though I am confident that the judge should grant my motion based on improper service I'd still like to know if the lack of jurisdiction applies to claims over $5000 in the state of Colorado. thanks! Is a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction valid in Colorado?Wrong county is a venue issue, not a jurisdiction issue.

Venue can be based in one of many places - where you currently live, where the contract was made, etc. If they sued you in the county where you live now, that will be alright by the court system.
