If there was a perpetual motion machine, then it would have to either reverse entropy or time in order to work.
Since you cannot reverse entropy or time, then perpetual motion machines cannot exist. How does a perpetual motion machine reverse entropy or time?It would not reverse entropy. It just would not create any entropy. 100% of the energy IN would do useful work. Then 100% of the work OUT would go to create energy. And so on.
The 2nd Law of Thermodynanics is what causes time to move in one direction. Time moves in the direction that results in the total entropy of the universe increasing. This may be the only reason needed to prevent time travel to the past. We would need to decrease the total entropy of the universe to the state it was in in the past and that cannot be done. Any energy used to drive the time machine increases the entropy of the universe and the machine moves into the futureHow does a perpetual motion machine reverse entropy or time? You question is non-sense! If it is not possible, how do you want someone to know how would the machine work?
