Will a motion for summary judgement be denied if my lawyer is questioning the honesty of the defendants?

The defendants stated in depositions that their attacking dogs were tied and broke loose, yet three family members also stated that they let their dogs out loose regularly to go to the bathroom. There were no witnesess to the incident. Is this question of honesty a basis for denying a motion for summary judgement filed by the defendants? In my state if the dogs were tied and broke loose they may not be liable for the attack. Will a motion for summary judgement be denied if my lawyer is questioning the honesty of the defendants?suuurrreee
