Question about motion sickness and seeing a movie in 3D?

My husband and I are planning on seeing Alice in Wonderland in 3D tomorrow. I get horribly motion sickness when I see a movie in IMAX so im a little worried about seeing it in 3D ( I do know its not the same). I obviously don't want to pay the money and then end up not enjoying it or spending my time in the bathroom tossing my cookies. Does anyone have an experience with this? Thank you.Question about motion sickness and seeing a movie in 3D?I got sick watching Avatar in 3D. I get motion sick easily so i don't know if it will be the same for you. But I can't watch IMAX for the same reason. If I were you, I'd stick to just seeing it in a regular theater. And if you see it 3D, you can't just take off your 3D glasses and watch it, because it's so blurry.Question about motion sickness and seeing a movie in 3D?You know, I have had similar experiences viewing 3D movies as well as those shown in the IMAX format. As the technology improves I believe these issues will become a thing of the past. I saw Avatar in IMAX 3D and really had no problems. If you feel that you are becoming ill, try to remove the glasses and look away for a few seconds. This has helped me in the past. I hope that you enjoy Alice and Johnny Depp!Question about motion sickness and seeing a movie in 3D?Personally, I think IMAX and 3D looks the same except for the bigger screen in IMAX. But when I went with my mom her eyes started hurting from the fast motion on the screen (we were watching Avatar). I suspected that her eyes hurt because she wears glasses, but it might be because she gets motion sickness. I don't know.Question about motion sickness and seeing a movie in 3D?
