How long should it take to get a motion to return seized property filed with the courts?

I was pulled over 10 weeks ago, and was never charged with any thing. They took 2 laptops that were in my car (both mine, but a friend was using one of them).



Since then, the cops (from 3 cities away) have served a search warrant on my house, and took items not covered in the warrant.



My lawyer said he filed the motion 8 weeks ago (2 weeks after it happened). And I still don't have a court date for this.



How long should this take? I already have 4 different court rulings that say the first seizure was illegale. But I can't seem to get the court date to present my case.

Have your attorney contact the court clerk and request a hearing date be set.
