On long coach journeys, I suffer from headaches, dizziness, tiredness, nausea (but I never actually vomit). My seasickness symptoms are: dizziness when standing up, headaches, and feeling a rocking motion when I have got off the boat (this is usually worse than the travel sickness and can last for days). I cannot find the right medicine that actually works. What is the best remedy or medicine for motion sickness? There's a homeopathic remedy I use called Trip ease, that has done wonders for me! I've also used gravol which is quite effective. I know it's hard, but one of the best things you can do is keep yourself hydrated. The other poster mentioned it helped them to eat a soda cracker, which does not help for me, it makes the nausea much worse, so it all depends on the person:) Sea bands can also proven to help a lot of people (Sea Bands are bracelets with little buttons that stick out and apply pressure to the pressure point on your wrist). The other thing I've heard is that keeping your feet moving is very helpful (I haven't tried this yet). Another helpful thing I've noticed is to look straight ahead of you or close your eyes, don't watch the things going by.
Try a few different things, you never know what will work for you until you try it.
Good luck!!!:)What is the best remedy or medicine for motion sickness?Try to get hold of Dramamine. Works pretty good. Remember to take it 30 minutes before boarding bus. Get water and drink it. Get dry nonsweet crackers. If you get nauseous. Eat a cracker. I know it's hell to make yourself eat but it worked magic on me and quite a few of my friends.
