How do the acceleration vectors differ on the opposite sides of the path for uniform circular motion?

How do the acceleration vectors differ on the opposite sides of the path for uniform circular motion? how are they the same? please explain. How do the acceleration vectors differ on the opposite sides of the path for uniform circular motion?the acceleration is always constant in u.c.m, as the accel. is caused by the constant force which is perpendicular to the velocity (centripetal force, towards the centre)

On opposite sides of the path, the acceleration will be the same magnitude but exactly the opposite direction.
