It needs to be able to do the following: Stop motion animation, chroma key, audio and video editing. Prefferably free, but will pay if i can find a good software that does all of the about.What is the best stop motion software?Blender can do most of those things (for free) except audio editing.
Not sure about chroma key though, but it can probably do that too.
Also, I don't think there is ANY software that does both video AND audio editing, but would it really be that hard to use another software in your production pipeline? If no, then I'd recommend Audacity for audio editing (also free ;).
Hope that helps ;)What is the best stop motion software?Dragon Stop Motion is the best software out there right now. It used to be Mac only, but they have a Windows Beta you can try. Failing that, Stop Motion Pro and AnimatorHD are considered top of the line products.
You can also check out this website for other stop motion animation programs; some free, some retail. I haven't used any of them (other than Stop Motion Pro) so I couldn't tell you if the rest of their features were any good or not, but at least it gives you other options.
