Any range of motion lost after surgery considered permanent?

I had surgery 2 years ago, my shoulder and knee is still not as flexible as it was before. I'm doing Wrestling right now in High School and there is a technique where flexibility is needed. So, is any range of motion lost after surgery considered permanent?Any range of motion lost after surgery considered permanent? No not usually, all surgeries are different, but in your case it sounds like what you need is some physio. Did you not have physio after your surgeries? Being a wrestler, you may not be all for this idea, but I can guarentee you it will help. Start attending yoga regularily and you will find your flexibility increase in no time.
