When an attorney files a motion to withdraw, how long does it take for him to be relieved from the client?

The company I am suing has not paid their attorney and he has filed a motion to withdraw. How long does it take for him to be relieved from defending the company. This lawsuit is going on 4 years old. To go to court in June. Does this help me? The company has contacted my attorney and has said they want to settle this directly with us. Where does this put me as far as winning or settling? When an attorney files a motion to withdraw, how long does it take for him to be relieved from the client? The motion is almost always approved, filed and a done deal the day it's heard.

It's hard to think of a reason it's good for you that their lawyer quit, the most frequent reason a lawyer signs off is because he isn't getting paid.

It sounds like the company is ready to settle, let's hope they don't start the negotiation by saying they are headed for bankruptcy. When an attorney files a motion to withdraw, how long does it take for him to be relieved from the client?I do agree with saved_by... It absolutely depends on the Judge. He is the one that rules if the Motion to Withdraw is accepted. If they action you what you appetite again settle. If not again go to court. As continued as you accept an advocate again I wouldn't anguish about them. If they are activity to represent themselves again it ability advice you. When an attorney files a motion to withdraw, how long does it take for him to be relieved from the client? It really depends on the Judge.
