How can i get laser effects for stop motion?

How can i get laser effects for my clonetroopers from starwars, and lightsaber effects for stop motion. I have sony vegas 9, windows movie maker, adobe effects CS3, and AVS 4.

Help please.How can i get laser effects for stop motion?If you have After Effects, then it should be easy. Just look up "light saber effect" and tutorial in Google.
