How can I make my cameras quality better? And how can I do a stop motion?

I have a canon Powershot elph SD1100 IS and I want to change the settings to make it the best quality that it can be. What should I change the settings to and how would I do that?



Also, since I don't really have one of those clicker things that you attach to your camera how could I do a stop motion without having someone else take the pictures?How can I make my cameras quality better?
