How to turn on CD player or music with light switch or motion detector?

I'm trying to have music start playing when I enter the bathroom (and/or turn on the light switch).

I've thought of motion detectors that activate a power outlet into which a CD player can be plugged in. However sending power to the CD player does not press the "play" button. Jamming the play button does not work - the music does not start when the power is on.

Any ideas?

Extend the play contacts with a twin wire which goes to a mini relay, the relay can connect to a cheap battery operated motion detector light. The infra red remote can mount in most places in the bathroom. You need to do some fine soldering and get a low voltage low current relay. The power for the player should come on with the light switch so it goes off when you leave.
