Thank you so much.What do emotion and promotion have to do with motion?Think of motion as being primarily about movement. To show emotion is to move certain facial features or parts of the body. Therefore, to show emotion such as crying you make screw up your face or raise the sides of your mouth to smile. Promotion is, again, to do with movement. For example if you gain a promotion at work then you are said to have climbed (made a movement) up the ladder of success, not literally but metaphorically.
