What is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?

What is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?

a)No relationship

b) Inverse

c) Indirect

d) DirectWhat is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?Direct.

The hotter the temperature the faster particles move. That i s why things melt.What is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?
idkWhat is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?Heated particles move at a faster rate than colder ones.

Answer: (d)
direct. when temperature goes up, particles are excited and move around more.What is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?Direct relationship intuitively if you think about it. The more you heat, the more the temperature and the more energy in to the system and more energy means random motion of particles/molecules. Mathematically Ludwig Boltzmann worked on this problem and if you look at the Maxwell -Boltzmann distribution , you end up with an expression for velocity v of the particle/molecule:

v=(2KT/m)^1/2

Where K is the Boltzmann constant=1.4*10^-23 JK^-1 and m is the mass Kg and T is the temperature in K.What is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?
direct
direct. the more the tempature increases the more the partical motion increasesWhat is the relationship between temperature and particle motion?
Direct

particles will move faster directly proportional to the ambient temperature.
The relationship is direct. As particles, move faster and more rapidly, the minute amounts of friction caused combine and as a result you get an increase in temperature in accordance with the level of particle motion. Im not going to lie, Im not sure on this one as Im only in chemistry myself, and we havent studied this, but I understand particle physics, and I think direct relationships on graphs are show as a straight increasing line (slope). So go forit. Anyone know If im correct? I would like to know too.
